AANANDA HOLIDAYS river beach camp in the lap of
nature (Rishikesh) promises you the thrill of the
outdoors and the spill of White Water Running. Located
at the foothills of the Himalayas 16 kms from Rishikesh,
the camp is set up amidst picturesque environs by the
holy Ganga River and is surrounded by a thick Sal
forest.
AANANDA HOLIDAYS Camp an ideal base for adventure
activities in the Himalayas. It is situated 16 kms
upstream of Rishikesh on a secluded sandy beach by the
Ganga River and is 250 km from Delhi. A thick Sal forest
amidst scenic and picturesque environs surrounds the
camp with accommodation in roomy safari tents with cots.

Accommodation in camp
Tents (beds, mattresses and quilts provided) on twin
share. Each tent is furnished with 2 camp cots, a table,
two cane chairs. Toilet tents have dry-pit toilets (the
only toilets allowed as per Reserved Forest camping
regulations) with western style commodes over a pit.
Our camps have good quality alpine style tents, both
camps facilitated with beds, mattresses and blankets. We
have running water and clean toilet and shower
facilities. Bath area has running water, wash basin,
mirror. Toilets are nice and clean. We have English
style toilet in our Mahadev chatti camp.
Dining : Dining is
an interesting affair. Food is laid out in separate
dining tent overlooking river Ganga, serving Indian, and
western cuisine.
Activities in camp :
Beside rafting one could kayak on a placid stretch near
the camp or opt for hike to a typical village opposite
the camp or even go for longer hikes (5-6hrs) in the
surrounding hills. Facilities are available for beach
games like volleyball, Frisbee, tennis ball cricket,
basketball, badminton etc. A day in camp is rounded off
with a campfire and a leisurely evening with fellow
rafters.
