Yamunotri Temple that is the dedicated to Maa Yamuna (Goddesss Yamuna), it is located at the altitude of 3185 mts. It has its own religious importance because it’s a part of chota chardham siyuated in Uttarakhand.

The actual source of river Yamuna is a glacier called champasar glacier. The glacier is set on the kalind mountain. The height of the mountain is 4421 mtr from sea level. If any traveller wants to go on glacier then it is total 3 days climbing. The approach of this glacier is too difficult.
